Landing Craft General Purpose Mk.1

There was only one Mk.1 craft, which was slightly smaller than the Mk.2s. She was built locally to serve at Glugor, Penang, transferring to Gan when the former unit closed in December 1969. One of her duties whilst at Glugor was to ferryb equipment and personnel to the nearby outlying island of Bidan. She was nicknamed the "Bidan Belle" on account of this duty, and the name stuck as she was shipped to Gan. Whilst in service at Gan she was renamed "Chastity". She served at Gan along with her sisters until the unit there closed down # on the 11th November 1975, when she was handed over to the Maldive Government.
